Alexa graduated at this fall ceremony and is already a Senior Research Associate with WestED Educational Research Group.
TSponsored by the FIU Latin American & Caribbean Studies program, this national award supports graduate research conducted in Spanish and Portuguese-speaking Latin American nations.
Alexa defended her APA funded dissertation titled "Emerging Adult College Students’ Perceptions of Immigrants".
As part of the FCC/ CCHI Lab collaboration, they went to recruit parents for the research study.
Ana received this award during the graduation ceremony for having accomplished extraordinary things during her time at FIU.
Elsa, a member of the CCHI Research Lab, graduated at this summer ceremony and is already working as a Senior Research Scientist at FIU.
